The Surname Dyer

Dyer is my mother's family name. It's origin is almost certainly from the occupation of a Dyer and it is widespread in parts of the world with families of an English ancestry, although not one of the most common,

My Dyer ancestors originally came from Northamptonshire around the Daventry area in the latter part of the eighteenth century, moving to Stratford-on-Avon in the early 1800s, thence to Birmingham in the late 1800s.

This descendant report shows all descendant from my earliest known Dyer ancestor Michael Dyer, in my tree except where it joins the Jacombs descendant report. A link joins the two reports.
