Many people have helped me with my research over the years by sharing information and helping solve many issues and I would like to thank and acknowledge them all.
First and foremost my father who did much of the original research into the Jacombs, Resuggan and Whatnall lines on which I have built, and also got me interested in the subject in the first place.
My aunt Ethel who provided much of the information to get me started on my mother's ancestry and allowed me to borrow the old papers for the Moore and Dyer families.
My Australian 7th cousin Phil, with whom I have corresponded off and one for a few years. He has provided me with most of the Australian Jacombs information and together we have worked out how the Australian side of the Jacombs tree fitted together before it departed from England.
My half 4th cousin from Cheshire. She initially removed a brick wall in my Irish ancestry and subsequently shared much of her research into the Cheshire names of mutual interest.
We are probably related, but we have not established the link yet. She has provided and shared much Whatnall information with me.
For all the information on the Cheshire Stubbs.
For the information on his Jacomb line and his excellent web site jacomb.com
For all the extensive information he provide on the major Jacomb line.
